I love working with motivated students (meet a few of them) to pursue their college aspirations!  I am an enthusiast for life long learning and an advocate for helping high school students become the best of who they are. The college process is steeped in self discovery and identifying educational options, opportunities, and learning environments.  

 

I was a first generation college student attending San Jose State University as a business major.  I earned my Masters in Business Administration from Santa Clara University and enjoyed a fulfilling, fifteen year corporate career as a marketing executive in the high tech industry. I hung up the business suit to raise my sons, who earned four year degrees at universities located in Boston and Los Angeles.

As students become high school juniors and seniors it is an exciting journey  to explore the college landscape with its' vast opportunities, paths, and multitude of choices.  However, navigating the college terrain can become overwhelming very quickly.  The once exciting journey takes a turn towards stress and anxiety.  Don't worry, you are not alone.  This feeling of confusion is common for many students and families.

The good news is there are college counselors, like myself, with the commitment and motivation to assist you forge through the college process quagmire.  The discovery and research work done together help minimize confusion paralysis and maximize options.
